CrossFit for children will help you child with improved discipline, self-esteem, general physical fitness, skills and teamwork. Strength and Conditioning is a huge part of our programming and is the perfect option for parents whose kids need change and diversity in their activities, who require a multi-disciplined approach that can set them up for any specific sport ambition later on in life and who need support in learning the value of exercise, social skills and self confidence that can only come with doing a variety of tasks and challenges. CrossFit for children is one of the best ways for youngsters to learn functional movements and motor skills that will carry on into their lifetimes.
Our vision to develop and focus on a kids program comes from our love of health, community and fitness. Over the years we hope to build this program to include summer camps, programs for under privileged children and to include opportunities for educational trips. We hope that the CrossFit Okanagan Community will support us in growing this vision in the Kelowna & Okanagan area. Through the programs we offer, we guarantee to provide physical, emotional and lifestyle benefits to all kids and teens who enroll in our programs and classes.
Coach Michelle Boot
She’s been coaching CrossFit Kids for over 5 years and has + 25 years experience working with kids as an Early Childhood Educator and Educational Assistant. She’s got some great and fun things lined up for the classes and we hope your kids enjoy the program! All of the current CrossFit Kids are already seeing some major improvements not only in the gy, but at home and school!
