Frequently asked questions

Common Questions, Honest Answers

We know joining a new gym can feel intimidating. Here are a few answers to help you feel confident before your first class at CrossFit Okanagan.
Do you offer personal training or specialty programs?

Yes! In addition to CrossFit, we offer HYROX training, ForeverFit (55+), and Teen classes. You can also schedule one-on-one sessions with our coaches.

How many times per week should I come?

Most new members start with 3–4 classes per week. As your fitness improves, you can add more sessions — our coaches can help you find the perfect balance. Whatever you want your training regiment to be, we have a membership plan for it!

What should I expect in my first class?

You’ll start with a group warm-up, learn proper movement techniques, and then complete the day’s workout at your own pace. Expect encouragement, not pressure — and plenty of high-fives.

Do I need experience to start CrossFit?

Not at all! Every workout is scalable to your fitness level. Our coaches will guide you through each movement so you can train safely and build confidence from day one. However, we do ask if you have no crossfit experience you book an introduction class with us so we can run through the movements, learn about any previous injuries, and discuss safety and tips.

What if I’m visiting from another CrossFit gym?

We love visiting athletes! Book a drop-in online, show up a few minutes early, and our coaches will get you set up for class.

How does membership work?

We offer flexible memberships to match your schedule and goals. Choose from unlimited classes, 3x per week, or drop-in passes — all with full access to our community and coaching.
